innerfuse

Independent AI and software studio

We build useful software products and help teams build theirs.

Innerfuse is an independent AI and software product studio. We create our own products, explore emerging technologies and help teams turn promising ideas into working software.

Good software starts with understanding the problem.

We believe in building useful things, keeping complexity under control and making technology work for people.

01

Build

Independent software products designed to solve real problems.

02

Explore

Practical experiments and prototypes that test new ideas.

03

Collaborate

Focused engineering expertise for teams building something meaningful.

Products

From the studio

We design, ship and look after our own products. Each one keeps its own name. Innerfuse is the studio behind them. Daily Word is the one you can use today. Konbi and KoreaStay are still early.

Language learning

Daily Word

One word. Every day.

Available

Daily Word is a family of quiet language apps. One word arrives each morning. Korean, Dutch, Mandarin and Japanese each have their own app, under the names Daily Korean Word, Daily Dutch Word, Daily Chinese Word and Daily Japanese Word. The product site describes the same morning habit for all four: the lock screen keeps the word, and the app holds the rest.

  • A new word each morning, including on the lock screen.
  • Meaning, spoken pronunciation and an example sentence in the app.
  • A home-screen widget, a share card and an optional quiz you can skip.
  • Free, with no subscription and no advertising.

Language learning

Hangul Snap

Get comfortable with Hangul, one step at a time.

Public site

A separate product for learning to recognise Hangul, alongside Daily Korean Word.

Local information

Boyoung

Ask people nearby what's happening before you go.

Early stage

A location-based app for asking people nearby what a place is like right now. Early, and aimed first at Seoul.

Learning

You Can Learn

You can learn it.

Public site

Short, self-directed learning resources, without an account or a subscription.

  • Small lessons with a plain explanation.
  • Little friction between the person and the material.
  • No account and no subscription.
  • You set the pace.

Housing

Konbi

Read the documents before you sign.

Early stage

A check on one Seoul flat for a foreign renter, before they commit. Early, and not a paid service.

Events

KoreaStay

Find people going to the same event.

Early stage

A way for solo travellers to share a stay or meet up around an event, in Telegram. Early, and there are no events to join yet.

Build useful things. Teach what we know. Help others build theirs.

The products are where that gets tested. Daily Word has to be useful with no account and no tracking. The same constraint is the one we would rather keep when a team asks for a new system.

Short experiments and short lessons do a similar job. They show which ideas still make sense once a person is holding them.

Have something interesting in mind?

Whether you're exploring an AI idea, building a new product or tackling a difficult engineering challenge, we'd be happy to hear about it.
